this is the year we finally and really made an effort to decorate, inside and out. yahooooo! i love fall and i love the decorations but i failed miserably the last several years. i was so ready this year tho – game on!
the fam and i went to a local nursery and our mission was to find mums and a planting pot. well, it turned into mum shopping, pumpkin buying, and other fun things. the girls were into it and had a lot fun! plus, the nursery had a fun little corn maze, fountains, and other festive things for the girls to look at.
what i have to tell you is that our initial pumpkin adventure turned into many pumpkin adventures. we bought quite a bit at the nursery but it’s funny how you think you buy so much but when you get home and set it up, you find out you have nothing! hahahaha! so, we pretty much bought pumpkins at two, or maybe three more places. just to make it look pretty, festive, full and abundant!
i think we might have started our initial fall decorating a few weeks ago and just now, do we finally feel like it looks somewhat festive. and i must admit, our decorations are so not over the top. it’s rather simple and i laugh that it took so much time, work, and moolah. where’s my hands up in the air emoji?! it ain’t easy trying to be pinterest and ‘gram friendly and it ain’t cheap. hahaha! who’s with me??!!
